We met Rene and Terry for lunch at Tom Baker Clinic May 21st. We were both were having our treatments and thought it was a good place to meet up. We had an awesome visit. We reminisced about our growing up years in Canmore and how my Mom, Ellen, used to say Rene had a hollow leg. She loved having Rene and Michel over for meals. Ellen would tease Rene about his hollow leg and she told him to be sure to stand up just in case he was still hungry. Rene allows phoned for birthdays. He was a great one for letting you know the where abouts of all the "Old Canmorites". We sure had a lot of laughs. Rene took great fun in teasing Liz about her name. He always called her "Lizzy Borden". He would also remind her of the time he rescued her from her cousins one time. That was when he had the little sports car with the small stirring wheel. Rene was a great Husband, Brother, Uncle, Son and Friend. We will really miss our friend. Jason and Liz
