I met Carolyn in 1972, her Grade11 her school locker was beside mine. I found Carolyn very likable and was pleased when she agreed to go out with me. I got to know her friends like Cathy Bennett and Tara Smith as well as her family and team-mates on the Salmon Arm Jewels basketball team. Many of Carolyn’s class-mates from Jackson Jr. High School called her “Sunshine”. This was a very apt name she was bright and warm, and full of energy. For Carolyn’s family, who I am sure love and miss her, I would like you to know, that I love and miss her too.
