There are so many memories its hard to say just one. Laughter and visits. The first thing that came to my mind was mikes nature and personality. Bull in the china shop was how he summed himself up along with maybe just a little bit stubborn..but only just a little. Lol. I remember one day things were not going as well as they should have been. Well the bull in the china shop personality came out. At the end of the day, mike asked me why everyone shied away from him. Wanted to know if i was scared of him also. I replied not one bit and an outspoken tasmanian devil for the day probably had something to do with everyone backing away from him. I dont think he liked my answer to well. Lol There were also times that he would be the opposite. More patience than most would ever have or more than i would have. He would take the time to listen to someone or help them out if he could. The gruff exterior he showed would dimiinsh with what he was really like inside. Could talk to him about anything. Nothing seemed to shock him. Where most would criticize he instead gave suggestions or advice You never wanted to be in his way when it came to his days off. I am sure he would run you over on his way out..and his track record on vehicle accidents was sometimes a sudden spike on a graph. Lol. He couldn't get home fast enough. When he returned he spoke of the stories of home. Pull out a picture that mitts had made him in school. Knew the exact spot it was going to hang in his office Mike is a person i will never forget. Has helped me in so many ways and a good friend. He was taken from life that was to short but one day we will meet again. And the laughter and visits will be back The world has lost a good man but heaven has just gained one
