It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the passing of a beautiful young woman. Miss Jessica Emily Schamehorn passed away at home on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the age of 27 years. Jessica was born in Red Deer, Alberta on May 29, 1991. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her bubbly personality, her sense of humour and her fighting spirit. She will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Jessica will be lovingly remembered by her mother and step father, Kari and Robert Unsworth, her sister, Sarah Schamehorn, her brother, Carter Unsworth and her grandparents, Barry and Cheryl Simpson, and Jean Unsworth. Jessica will also be sadly missed by her uncle, Shaun (Deb) Simpson, her aunt, Cheryl (Bob) Haldane and Michelle (Stacy) Williams, as well as numerous cousins and friends. A Celebration of Jessica’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Jessica’s honour may be made directly to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation at www.heartandstroke.ca.
