It is with great sadness, that the family announces the passing of Cody Joseph Douglas Alexander Neigum, surrounded by his family in Red Deer, on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the age of 28 years. Cody was full of life, with a big heart. His interests included hauling cattle with his papa, chasing pigs at Burnt Lake, playing baseball, and in his later life, he enjoyed drilling wells with Garth. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him! Cody will be forever loved and missed by his mother, Loree; his father, Dale; brothers, Anthony (Danielle and Kinley) and Cody; sisters, Shanaya and Kaylee; his special grandmothers, Jean and Shirley; uncle, Joey; aunts, Brenda, Theresa, Lorraine, and Joan; uncle, Al; and his cousins, Chad and Amanda. Cody is also survived by numerous other family and friends. Cody was predeceased by his Papa, Joe Neigum and his grandpa, Doug Hodgkinson. Also meeting him in Heaven are his two favorite dogs, Minnie and Peanut. A Memorial Service was held at the CrossRoads Church, Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, January 5, 2015.
