Condolence From: Sherry Sasvary
Condolence: Kendal, I am thinking of you today and hope that this memorial is not, in your mind, what memorials should be. For years we have loved from a distance because that's sometimes all you can do. Unfortunately some people you called family, never want to see the good, your heart or the happiness. Take one for yourself today and know, no matter what happened, the words that may have been said, God knows your heart and I am very proud of the caring heart you had for your Nan, my Mom, even when she was hard to love. You never disappointed her! If she was honest, you probably taught her a few things. I am so sorry that you lost something everyone should have. My Nana Rogers was human as well, but your mom learned one thing from her, to always have empathy for others even when they make it difficult to love them. This is the example I try every day to live by with you, imperfect as it may be. You are, and always will be, AN AWESOME granddaughter, as well the greatest thing I have ever had in my 38 years. When I couldn't be there, you were there for her, whether it was a phone call, or going to the house when I couldn't. You went to the hospital with me every time, so I wouldn't be alone. To me, that is a reason to be proud of a grand daughter. No matter what anyone says, or how you may be hurt by someone's selfish, unkind words, when I didn't know how to be a daughter to my mom sometimes you showed me how to love your Nana. I will never have with my mom what you and I have but I am so grateful that you are here with me today to remember my Mom, your Nan. Be proud of yourself. That's all that really matters, i know, God told me so. Love Mom xoxo

Condolence From: Candy Fertig
Condolence: Brian, Richard, Sherry, and families,
I am so saddened to hear of Wendy's passing! She was a very special lady and one of my very first and most loyal clients throughout my years at Utopia and Cappelli Studio. I remember meeting all of you shortly after you first moved to Red Deer and I always enjoyed listening to Wendy's stories about the kids and their adventures. She had a great smile and an infectious laugh and was never offended no matter how off-colour the jokes in the salon might be that day! I am so sorry I won't be able to attend the service, but please know I will be thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

Take care,

Candy
