The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Peter Leyen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Lori and Dorothy and all of us at N.T.O.M.I.

Dear Dora, Family, Co-workers and Friends of Peter We want you to know that our love and prayers are with you, especially at this time. We pray that the comfort and strength of the Holy Spirit be upon your hearts and we claim God’s promise in Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted.” It has been said that you can count the number of apples on a tree, but you cannot count how many trees will ultimately come from one apple. We know this is true in the life of Peter. He has imparted much into many lives and God has used him for His glory and what he has done will live on through the lives that he has touched. We thank God for Peter’s life and for the hearts and lives he touched during his time on this earth. His friendship has meant so much to us and to our team and we thank God for Peter’s life and kindness towards us and those we minister to. D.L. Moody said – “"Some day you will read in the papers, 'D. L. Moody is dead.' Don't you believe a word of it!

"At that moment I shall be more alive than I am now;
I shall have gone up higher, that is all,
out of this old clay tenement into a house that is immortal --
a body that death cannot touch, that sin cannot taint;
a body fashioned like unto His glorious body.

That which is born of the flesh may die.
That which is born of the Spirit will live forever. We thank God also that Peter is now more alive than he ever was and one day we will see him again. We wish we could be with you all today with all our hearts, but you are in our hearts and in our prayers and may the peace of God which passes all understanding overshadow you and uphold you now and in the days to come. With much love from Lori and Dorothy and all of us at N.T.O.M.I.
