Wallace Stephen  Williams
Mr. Wallace Stephen Williams of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Red Deer Hospice, Red Deer on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the age of 64 years. Wallace enjoyed the great outdoors; his two passions were hunting and fishing. He loved the ocean and his 'Newfie' heritage was something he was very proud of. Wallace was a loyal husband and trusted friend. He loved his family; including his many nieces and nephews with all his heart, and those feelings were reciprocated. Wallace will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Julie Williams (nee Thibeau) of Red Deer, Alberta; his children, Debbie Duff of Barrie, Ontario, Kathy Williams of Ottawa, Ontario, Jeff (Rachel) Williams of Barrie, Ontario; and Jessica (Dave) Cribbie of Berwyn, Alberta; as well as his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Mervin (Maureen) Williams of New Harbour, Newfoundland, Tony (Joann) Williams of Wabush, Newfoundland, Chris (Sherry) Williams of New Harbour, Newfoundland; his sisters, Catherine Piercey of New Harbour, Newfoundland, Marie (Alex) Rowsell of Port Blandford, Newfoundland and Della (Terry) Piercey of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland; his father and mother-in-law John and Dora Thibeau; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene (Frank) Ford, Johnna (Bernie) Walker, Pam Thibeau and Sharon Williams; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends in Alberta and Newfoundland. Wallace was predeceased by his parents, Reginald and Rowena Williams, a brother, Berrick Williams; a brother-in-law, Randy Thibeau; sister-in-law, Cathy Jackson and a nephew, Ryan Williams. A Celebration of Wallace's Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Ian Watson, officiating.
