I remember Shay very muoch and when I saw this obituary in the Advocate, I could not believe it. If I am remembering the right beautifu llittle boy, he had ashasma very bad and there was a machine in the office of the store that I used to go and put him on this machine. He would also go out without his puffer and I would have to run out and give him his puffer because he had forgotten it in his room. What a beautiful and friendly little boy that was the greatest. I missed him so much but will always remember him. I think of all my kids I had in my class as I was there 10 years and I had wished I had kept a book of all the kids I had in my rooms. This one was special because he was always so thoughtful and always willing to lend a helping hand, never acting out like the other kids. His teacher was also a great teacher and I just have so many memories of Shay and of the memories of the kids that I was in their room as they ate their lunch. I often wish that I could turn back the time to be able to be with these kids and the love I had for them but Shay was someone that always stuck into my mind because he was just a very special little boy. Rest in Peace Dear Shay, even though I don't remember all your life from the time you left school in Normandeau and I left there as well in 1990 due to having two failed back surgeries, I never foorgot you or the other children but I am sure you made your time count here on earth doing all kinds of fun things. God REst Your Soul Betty Dick
