Victoria Bertha ‘Vicky’ Sentes (Sebastian) passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the age of 82 years. Vicky was born on March 13, 1933 at Quinton, Saskatchewan; and moved in 1968 with her husband, Ernest and children to Killam, Alberta; then Vegreville, before finally settling in Red Deer. Vicky loved to sew, knit and crochet. She was kind and generous to all those around her. Vicky served many during her years working banquets at the Capri Centre and the Red Deer Lodge. She was a proud CWL member. Vicky will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Alfred (Anne Marie), Don (Laurel) and Gerry (Erin), her daughter, Theresa, and her grandchildren, Justine (Matt), Raelle (Ross), Logan, Ryder, Luke and Emily. She is also survived by her sister, Martha (Nick); and her brothers, Rudy (Stella), John (Dorothy) and Anton (Joan) and sister-in-law, Leona; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Vicky was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Gizella Sentes and a brother, Carl. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for the wonderful care given to Vicky. Honoring Vicky’s wishes, no Memorial Service will be held.
