Mrs. Roze Marie Burk of Red Deer, Alberta, sadly passed away at Evansburg, Alberta on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Roze was born on May 19, 1946 at Grandview, Manitoba to parents, Steve and Annie Robak. She worked as a clerk at the Michener Hill Grocery Store; as a clerk at the A.M.A. and also as an active business owner in the Plumbing and Construction Industries; all the while tending to the family farm. She enjoyed various activities with her husband, Jim; which included curling, bowling, touring the chuck wagon circuit, running their three boys all over Alberta to hockey games and growing a hearty garden. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Darren (Sheena) and Wayd (Tamara), all of Red Deer; her granddaughters, Breanna and Sophie; as well as numerous family and dear friends. Roze was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Jim Burk and her eldest son, Trevor James Burk. A Funeral Service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 37370 Range Road 274A, (McKenzie Road) Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Roze’s honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta and N.W.T. at www.heartandstroke.ab.ca or to the Alberta S.P.C.A. at www.albertaspca.org. The family would like to express their deep and sincere gratitude to all those who dedicated their time and efforts to the search for our dear Roze; as well as for their prayers and kindnesses shown.
