Kevin you and Allison were like a big brother and sister to Dan and I as kids. You were constantly around each other summers and many weekends. Sleeping countless nights in your basement watching scary movies and marveling over you crazy diaramas. I could never hold a brush that steady, you truly were a gifted artist. Getting us into your music. Riding in your flat blue toyota with a bmw logo (obtained by suspect means). Super chill with super curly hair that always looked wet. Uniform a white t-shirt bearing some hip but not too hip logo, black shorts and flip flops. Maybe a zip up hoodie if it was chilly. Black sunglasses. You pretty much dressed like a life guard all the time. Dan and I tried to copy as best we could. You may have even purchased a case or 2 of beer for us in a pinch. You were always interested in us and were so very patient. I don't have a single memory of you getting mad or frustrated with us. You were a very special person Kevin and you will be missed greatly. Allison as many fond memories with you. You were essentially our big sister and we loved you so much then and love the amazing woman, wife, mother, and teacher that you are today. Eileen (Mrs. Cole :)) you were a constant fixture in our lives from pre-school in the basement of Sunnybrook United Church right through our teens and we are undoubtedly better men for it. My heart goes out to you and your whole family. You will be in our prayers. God bless you and rest in peace Kevin. I'll always think back fondly on the time we spent together the role you played in my life.
