Gardening for Grandma Grimwood

The first time I met Jo-Ann was when she and Scott came to visit Grandma Grimwood in Prince Albert.  She wanted to help Grandma in some way so she decided to weed the garden and yard.  Grandma's garden was her pride and joy so Jo-Ann had made a really good choice of tasks.  I remember looking out and seeing Jo-Ann down on her hands and knees digging out weeds in areas where the rest of the family had given up.  I thought at the time " what a determined young woman she is."  I also noticed that Scott seemed to be very proud of Jo-Ann.  He was pleased with everything about her and was so happy to bring her to meet his family.  Over the years I noticed that Jo-Ann was good for Scott, she encouraged him to 'go for it.'  God gave them to each other.  Someday they'll meet again in heaven.
