Obituary for Herbert John "Herb" Laviolette

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Herbert John Laviolette at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the age of 77 years. He will be sadly missed by his children; Leigh, Rhonda and Juanita Laviolette, Ivan Thompson, Curtis and (Tanya) Couturier; his grandchildren, Tracy (Justin Dunstan), Tyler, Brina and Hayle Garberg, Tylor and Destiny Couturier, Mattias and Sidney Thompson as well as his great grandchildren, Connor, Skyler and Shyla Dunstan. He also leaves to mourn his brother, Owen (Patricia) Laviolette, his sisters, Shirley Sauve and Joyce Lewis. Herb was predeceased by his son; Byron David Laviolette on October 30, 2010; his brothers, Claude, Robert, Walter and Brian Laviolette and his sisters, Patricia Leroux and Olive Dewar. Herb pursued a lifelong love for cars and could often be found at the Thursday Night "Show & Shine" driving his 1953 Kaiser. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 - 67th A Street, Red Deer on Friday, October 24, 2014 between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Herbert's life will be held at the Living Stones Church, 2020 - 40th Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
