Baby Claire

Wayne and I had the opportunity to visit baby Claire of several occasions over the 10 1/2 months of her life both at home and at the hospital. The most amazing thing that stands out is the big bright eyes always smiling. She was always happy and a pleasure to be around. Her gaze would always follow her mom, dad or sister Shea--she certainly knew who they were because she would light up even more when they came into her line of sight. I remember the last time we saw her at the hospital I was reading her a book and she had no problem letting me know I wasn't or in the right position for her to turn the page.....it was so funny she was reaching for the page and I struggling to get in a position that she could turn the page and that she liked. She was a pure joy, a breath of fresh air and a burst of sunshine to everyone. Her rays will shine forever in our hearts and thoughts and every time we think of her we will smile because if I could only say one thing it would be BABY CLAIRE PYPER LAVERS always brought a smile to our face just because she was so always so happy. “THE DANCE” Looking back on the memory of The dance we shared 'neath the stars above For a moment all the world was right How could I have known that you'd ever say goodbye And now we’re glad we didn't know The way it all would end the way it all would go Our lives are better left to chance we could have missed the pain But we’d have had to miss the dance Baby Claire you left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled---but we would never change a thing See you later...................
