Obituary for Eva Shinski (Lugofett)

Eva Shinski passed away at the Red Deer Hospice with her loving husband and children at her side on September 4, 2014 at the age of 75. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Ross; children, Garth (LeeAnne), Murray (Carol), Blair and Barb; grandchildren, Derek, Tyler, twins Zachary and Samuel, Kristy (Jeff), Dennis, Brett and Steven; and great grandchildren, Melodie, McKennah and Ethan. Eva is also survived by her sister, Ann and her family. She is predeceased by her parents, one brother, two sisters and an infant sister. Eva and Ross had 43 happy years of marriage. She enjoyed motherhood and being a grandma and great grandma. Eva was a great cook, making a meal to feed an army at any given time. She had many pastimes which included bowling, camping, patio parties and just being with her beloved friends of 20th Street in Brandon, Manitoba. Eva also had a passion for the VLTs, calling them her piano, and for which she had a horseshoe. Another great love was for her pets. A private family service was held for Eva in Red Deer, Alberta. If friends desire, donations may be made in her honour to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Red Deer Hospice Society.
