Christopher James "Chris" Melanson
Mr. Christopher James ‘Chris’ Melanson of Blackfalds, Alberta passed away suddenly in Saskatchewan, on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the age of 38 years. Chris was born on June 5, 1976 at Halifax, Nova Scotia. An avid car enthusiast, Chris enjoyed working on cars whether it be fixing, restoring, painting or cleaning them, it was his passion. He loved his life and it reflected in the way he took care of his family and friends, always sharing a good meal by the fire or just hanging out with a nice cold refreshment. Laughter always echoed when in his presence and music and dance usually were in the midst. He will be truly missed by his loyal companion, co-pilot and buddy, Ricky. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his wife, best friend and confidant, Jennifer and three sons, Marcus, Dakota and Jesse, all of Nova Scotia, step-daughter, Jenna of Blackfalds and daughter, Paige of Lethbridge, Alberta. He will also be sadly missed by his father, David (Kathy) Melanson, his mother, Shawna Martin, his brother, Chad; as well as all his relatives and close friends.
