1932 – 2012
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Joseph “Joe” Siklenka of Red Deer. He passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, June 18, 2012 at the age of 79 years. Joe was born on October 7, 1932 in Regina, Saskatchewan and raised in Glaslyn, Saskatchewan. He worked in the oilfield which gave him opportunities to travel around the world. Joe is survived by his wife Dianna, two sons Terry of Victoria and Calvin of Calgary, daughter Joanne of Victoria, and sister Frances of Lloydminster. He was predeceased by his parents and four brothers. A memorial service to honor the life of Joe will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5508 – 48A Avenue, Red Deer on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made directly to www.heartandstroke.com Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
