Doug Woodrow

Duke was a good man. He was a good Son, a good Brother and a good Uncle to his family. A true friend to many, many people. As I reflect back, one of Dukes gifts, was his humor. He could turn a funny situation into something even funnier. His signature grin was the signal that something was going to happen! Often when discussing something with Duke, it would trigger a memory of a situation that had occurred years previous. Usually it was just as funny or funnier the second time around. Often, I would find myself with tears in my eyes, I was laughing so hard. Duke was a problem solver. When logic, skill or the instructions did not get the job done, brute strength and that grin, was often the solution. It was fun to work with Duke on a project. He amazed me with the amount of knowledge he had on a broad range of topics. From the projects that left the garage to the data center in his basement, creativity was always present. Beyond the surface Duke was a sensitive and caring man. He was always there when you needed help. He always considered others and got along with everyone. I will truly miss Dennis but I will never forget him. Woody
