Later, Wayne and Lynda moved to Red Deer and set permanent roots. Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends, which were very important to him, and most important, his grandkids, and great grandkids and their many accomplishments. He would attend all extracurricular activities any chance he had. Wayne enjoyed touring the United States following the NASCAR races.
