It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Wanda Jane Labas of Red Deer, Alberta, with her family and friends by her side, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the age of 58 years. Wanda was born on March 4, 1963 to parents, Joe and Margaret Labas at Brooks, Alberta. Wanda grew up in Edson, Alberta, where she completed her education and graduated. Later in life, Wanda attended Red Deer College and completed a year of Secretarial Education. She then returned home to Edson, and obtained full time employment with AGT. She always liked Red Deer, and was able to get a transfer back, to work with the Red Deer AGT Office. Wanda loved to travel, and enjoyed her time with friends and family dearly. Wanda will missed by all; as she was always there to make your day better. For all those who knew her, she will always be kept closely in our hearts. Wanda will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Gayle (Tom) Fischer, her niece, Amanda Fischer and her nephews, Jeffrey (Mavhier) and David (Brenda) Fischer. Wanda will also be sadly missed by her numerous extended family and friends. Wanda was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Margaret Labas.
