Obituary for Terrence Allan Chapman

Terrence Allan Chapman of Red Deer, Alberta passed away with family by his side, at his home, on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the age of 26 years. He was born on February 23, 1993 in Red Deer, Alberta. Terrence had a kind and caring heart that shined brightly. His uplifting personality and sense of humor would put a smile on everyone’s face. Terrence had a very bright mind. One of his many accomplishments was graduating from Red Deer College with a Bachelor of Arts in English, in 2016. Terrence was an active member of his community; working with Watts Project doing research and spending his extra time volunteering, to educate others about his communication device and his disability. Terrence enjoyed surrounding himself with family and friends. He loved hockey, bowling, movies, reading, writing, checking out the honeys, a good conversation and educating others. Terrence’s dream was to be a writer. With his determination and hard work, he wrote articles for Bethany Homes, The C.A.R.S. Newsletter and Walking With Our Sisters Website, as well as many more. Terrence will be very deeply missed by his loving parents, Michelle and Timothy; his sister, Rae-Ann; his brother, Dallas; his grandparents, Harold, Lorraine and Gail, his aunties, Susan, Amanda, Hailey and Bobbie and his uncles, James, Wayne, Russel and Mike; his nephews, Damian and Lincoln and his cousins, Clinton and Christopher; as well numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his great grandparents, Russel and Phyllis Chapman; grandfather, Gordon Ferguson; and a cousin, Susan Kirby. A Celebration of Terrence’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Terrence’s honor may be made directly to the Central Alberta Residency Society at www.carsrd.org.
