The Family of Ronald Underwood is very sad to announce his passing on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 98 years.
Ron was predeceased just nine weeks ago by Margaret, his beloved wife of 73 years with whom he shared strong faith in Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour.
Ron was born at home on the farm to Ida and Leslie Underwood of Grassy Lake, Alberta on March 16, 1924. He was brother to Phyllis Graham, Muriel Malsbury and Jack Underwood who all predeceased him.
Ron will be lovingly remembered by his family; children; Sharon (Wayne), Richard (Dianna) and Ralph; grandchildren; Travis, Janine, and Burke (Chelsey), and great-grandchildren; Ethan, Raya, Kylie and Brett.
Dad's example encouraged us all to love and care for nature, to be generous and hospitable, to appreciate poetry and music and to live life intentionally and finish it with courage. We will remember all the good he brought into our lives and we will always miss him.
We wish to thank the management and staff of Pines Lodge and Red Deer Hospice for their kindness and wonderful care. A Private Family Interment will be held.
