It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Regina Teresa Rypina, surrounded by her loving children, at home on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Regina was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. After the Second World War, the family moved to Gdansk, Poland; where she married, had children and worked as an Accountant. Regina was known for her generous spirit, kindness, nonjudgmental attitude and great sense of humor. She was an avid reader, loved music, art and gardening. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Gosia, her son, Slawek, her son-in-law, Leszek, her family in British Columbia and Poland, and her overprotective rescued dachshund, Lucy. Regina was predeceased by husband, Kazimierz, a brother, Jan, a daughter in law, Beata and her beloved and only granddaughter, Sabrina.
