Obituary for Randy William Boyce
Mr. Randy William Boyce of Red Deer County, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital
Centre on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at the age of 61 years. Randy was born in Roblin, Manitoba on October 7, 1961, to Orval and Velma (nee McGinnis) Boyce. Randy was raised in Makaroff, Manitoba until he moved to Calgary, Alberta as a young man. He married the love of his life, Elda Wilkinson at the age
of 22 years. Together they welcomed three daughters, Vanessa, Melissa and Jacklyne. He worked hard in Construction/Oilfield, as a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for over forty years. He found joy in curling, golf, hunting, fishing, quadding, camping, ski-dooing, and being outdoors. Randy was blessed with seven grandchildren, who filled his life with love and laughter. Randy enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends; and he will forever be loved and missed by all that knew him. Randy will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife, Elda Boyce; his daughters and their families, Vanessa (Jim) Leask and their children, Jay, Arye and Ava, Melissa (Dan) Reimer and their children, Landon and Kaeli, and Jacklyne Boyce and her children, Jayke and Ellie; his brother, Bryan (Jan) Boyce; his sisters, Betty Epp, Barb (Ken) Jerome, and Brenda (Peter) Carriere, as well as numerous family members, dear friends and coworkers. Randy was predeceased by his parents, Orval and Velma Boyce; his brother, Greg Boyce; his sister-in-law, Sandra Boyce and his brother-in-law, Ernie Epp. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held at the CrossRoads Chapel, 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County, Alberta on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Cochrane Officiating.
