It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Peter John Hammond of Red Deer, Alberta, after a hard fought, five year battle with cancer, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Peter was born and raised in England and came to Canada as a young man. He enjoyed a thirty-four year career with Pan Canadian and Encana in the Oilfield. Peter retired in 2002. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carol; son, Devin; daughter, Pam and grand-daughter, Stephani. Peter will also be sadly missed by his brother, Brian; as well as numerous family members and dear friends. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
