It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Michael Rolland ‘Mike’ Laberge of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, at home, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the age of 44 years. Mike was born on December 26, 1975 in Wainwright, Alberta; where he grew up and went to school. After High School, Mike moved from Wainwright to Edmonton, Alberta, and later on to Sylvan Lake; where he worked for the Town of Sylvan Lake for many years. Mike will be remembered for his infectious smile, big heart, and being the life of the party. He was an avid reader and could remember any statistic, especially if it was sports related. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his father, Jules Laberge of Sylvan Lake; his sister, Nicki Pike of Red Deer; and his niece, Jordyn Pike of Red Deer. Mike was predeceased by his mother, Jill Reidy. Due to Covid Restrictions, a Family Only Funeral Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, Red Deer, Alberta.
