Obituary for Lorne Oscar Dean

Mr. Lorne Oscar Dean of Innisfail, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, in Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the age of 66 years. Lorne was born in Calgary, Alberta August 12, 1954 to Wilson and Arlene Dean. Lorne graduated from Lord Beaverbrook High School in Calgary, Alberta in 1972. He did various jobs after graduation, before he joined his Dad at Wilson Oilfield Supply where he met and married the love of his life, Julie Young. Lorne and Julie were married in 1982, and had two son’s Tylor and Trent. He loved woodworking and built many pieces of furniture and other various wood pieces. Lorne and Julie moved to Brooks, Alberta in 2003 for work, and then later moved to Innisfail, Alberta for work in Red Deer, Alberta. Lorne loved going camping and was a Scout Leader. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Julie; sons, Tyler and Trent (Tara); and two grandchildren, Amy and Roan. Lorne will also be lovingly remembered by his mom, Arlene; his sister, Neva (Ed); his brothers, Seldon (Mary), Bruce (Susan), Kerry and Colin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends. Lorne was predeceased by his father, Wilson, and his brother, Brian, As per Lorne’s request, there will be no formal service held. In salute to Lorne, please have a glass of Pepsi (with rum if you choose). Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
