Obituary for Lisa Lei Lonni Devore

My sparkly bounce-back girl has lost her sparkle and bounced from this earthly life. Who knew a foot injury would lead to a deadly infection? So incredibly sad are Lisa’s kids, Jazz, Cash and Lucy; brother, Roy and his kids, Sydney and Jackson; mom, Jeanette; her best friend and companion, Johnny Power; extended family and friends. Growing up, Lisa enjoyed playing the piano, learning Taekwondo, family camping and occasionally winning a crib game against her gramma. Lisa graduated from McCoy in 1999, excelling in “social” and “drama”. She had a strong work ethic and her favourite Medicine Hat employers were the Dairy Queen in Crescent Heights and Tim Horton’s at the Hospital. Lisa was a tough Blackfoot woman with a big heart, a loyal friend. With her beauty and charm, she could light up a room. She was predeceased by her infant nephew, Tyler; her dad, Russ; and, her gramma, Bertha Mierau. A Funeral Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Wear comfy clothes, like your favourite Team Jersey and sneakers. A Celebration in Medicine Hat will follow shortly. Condolences may be sent to www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
