Mrs. Laurie Elizabeth Dahms (nee Lane) of Terrace, British Columbia passed away in Alberta, in a motor vehicle accident on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the age of 66 years. Laurie was born in Watrous, Saskatchewan in 1953. She was a loving wife, mother, and ‘nana’ to her grandchildren. Laurie was a nurse from 1975, until her retirement. Laurie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ken Dahms; her sons, Michael (Lori) and Andrew (Tera) and her grandchildren, Kellan Douglas, Taylor, Harrison and Liam Dahms. She will also be sadly missed by her mother-in-law, Doris Dahms; her sister-in-law, Debra (Mo Naguib); her sister, Marilyn (Ed) Mol; her brother, Eric Lane Jr. and her brother-in-law, Milton Prokopetz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Laurie was predeceased by her parents, Eric and Dorothy Lane; a sister, Patricia Prokopetz and her father-in-law, Chester Dahms. A Celebration of Laurie’s Life will be held at a future date.
