It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Kurt Franz Peltz of Red Deer, Alberta, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey, Alberta on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 87 years. As a young man, Kurt loved the outdoors; with his passions being downhill skiing in the winter and fishing, hiking and camping in the summer. He will be remembered for being an avid golfer, going to all the golf courses in the surrounding area, and he belonged to the Delburne Senior’s Golf Club. Kurt was a member of the Red Deer Legion and The Elks; where women often took advantage of his dancing skills. He also loved to garden, and was an exceptional handyman. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix! Kurt will be forever loved and missed by his daughter, Cyndi Gunzer; his grandchildren, Lori and Brian McFadden and his great grandchildren, Dewey, Douglas, Dyson and Destiny. Kurt was predeceased by his loving wife of twenty-two years, Elfrieda, where he will be laid to rest, by her side. A Private Graveside Service was held at the Red Deer Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
