Obituary for Julie Karen Robinson

Julie ‘Jewells’ Karen Robinson of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the age of 62 years. Julie was born on September 11, 1957 at Manchester, England and came to Canada as a child. She was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she married her husband, John at the age of 38. Julie lived in Lafayette, Louisiana for five years, where she worked with children and rescued many stray animals. She then came to Red Deer, Alberta, with her husband, and worked at Petland for over ten years, educating people about nurturing the animal-human bond. Julie was a compassionate, loving woman who always maintained her integrity and held herself and others accountable. “We Love You Jewells”. Julie will be very deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, John; her sister, Joanne Robinson and her nephew, Liam Robinson, both of Burnaby, British Columbia; her mother-in-law, Donna Ramsay of Courtney, British Columbia and her sister-in-law, Christina Snell of Nova Scotia, as well as many dear friends. Julie was predeceased by her mother, Barbara and a sister, Jane. A Celebration of Julie’s Life will be held at a later date, at her home.
