Obituary

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Irene ‘Ruth’ Rumble (nee Leach) at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the age of 69 years. Ruth was the fifth and youngest child, born to parents, Clarence Delve and June Hazel Leach on October 25, 1950. She grew up and graduated High school in Dresden, Ontario, and later moved to Chatham, Ontario, to attend College. Ruth married Wayne Rumble, later packing up their household and venturing West to Sylvan Lake, Alberta, with their two children. Ruth spent more than thirty years working at Michener Centre. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend, who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and gardening. Ruth will be very lovingly remembered by her husband, Wayne Rumble; her daughter, Angela (Lyall) Dingeldein; her son, Jon-Paul Rumble; her granddaughter, Raelynn Dingeldein; her grandson, Karson MacGillivray-Rumble; a brother, Ivan Leach and her sister Edna Kucera, as well as her extended family and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her father, Clarence, her mother, Hazel, a sister, Audrey and a brother, Karl. A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations in Ruth’s honor may be made directly to Klassic Kennels Red Deer at www.klassickennels.com. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
