Obituary for Gordon Henry Boulton

BOULTON, Gordon
1953 - 2023
Gordon Henry Boulton of Red Deer, Alberta unexpectedly finished his journey on Earth in the comfort of his own home on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the age of 69 years. He was born in Elnora and grew up in the Trenville area on his family farm which built his love for country life, 4-H, and an extreme passion for horses. Pursuing his trade in construction, Gord moved to Red Deer to raise his family in the late 1970’s. He has left his fingerprint on many buildings and infrastructure projects in the Red Deer area. Gord accomplished many certifications and held two trade tickets. After working at Quinn for many years, he enjoyed his retirement by swimming, walking the trails, singing with local choirs, and participating in his church communities. Gordon is survived by his wonderful daughters, Teresa (Mark) Frentz, Krystal Hansen, and Myrriah (Mike) Goldade, his six grandchildren and his siblings, Jim (Marta) Boulton, Sandy (Barry) Blair, David (Betty) Boulton, and Cheryl Boulton. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Bob and Glenna (nee Page) Boulton, and his brother, Bill Boulton. Our dad will be remembered for his hard-working hands, the gifts of horseback riding, board games, camping, canoe trips and bike rides. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Christian Assembly following a private family graveside service. If desired, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gordon’s honor may be made directly to the Potter’s Hands Ministries, PO Box 27093, Station Main, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 6X8 or the Liberty Christian Assembly, 1B 6315 Horn Street, Red Deer, Alberta, T4N 6H5.
