It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Gary David Simpson in Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, February 21, 2022 at the age of 75 years. Gary was a fun loving, free spirit, and a kid at heart who loved a great adventure. He touched many people over his lifetime with his generous heart and always went above and beyond for his family, friends and even strangers. Gary will be always be remembered for talking about the weather, his tongue and cheek humor, his love for animals, sense of style, love of music, photography, and his love for a sunny patio, with a cold beer, or a glass of wine. Gary always be remembered and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Laurie Simpson; his two children, Angela (Sev) Simpson and David (Helga) Simpson; his three stepchildren, Tracey Innes Leney, Tammy (Ronnie) Jansen and Ryan (Amanda) Innes; his two grandchildren, Markus Simpson and Katie Simpson and his three step grandchildren, Courteney (Matt) Leney, Dylan (Janelle) Leney and Harrison Innes. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
