Obituary for Faron Murray Ritz

RITZ, Faron
1962 – 2020
It is with absolute shock and sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Mr. Faron Murray Ritz, husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the age of 57 years. Faron was born in Dauphin, Manitoba, the first born son, to Erwin ‘Curly’ and Mary Ritz. The young family moved to Red Deer briefly, and finally settled in Medicine Hat. Faron graduated in 1980, from Crescent Heights High School, and went on to apprentice with Scott Manufacturing, as a welder. Later, he went on to receive his Ticket, through Joyline Transport. In his late twenties, Faron moved to Red Deer, Alberta and began his lengthy career with North West Pipe; where he worked on and off again with the company, up until 2018. BWS Fabrication was the other company Faron split his career with, up until March of this year. In June 2017, after eleven years together, Faron married his forever love, Oksana, in Las Vegas. Faron will be forever remembered as a hardworking, hard playing, fiercely loyal and loving family man. He survived by his loving wife, Oksana; his youngest daughter, Zarrah Ritz, and step son Alex Katyshev; his oldest two daughters from his first marriage Dakota Ritz and Sienna Ritz; and his granddaughter, Kaysia Walton. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, Leon Ritz (Paige Schneider); his sister, Tamala Peters (Bernard De Peiza); his nieces, Cersten Peters (Nick Lyons) and Brayden Peters (Derrick Cullum). Faron was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Erwin Ritz. Due to Covid-19, the family will be having a Private Celebration of Faron’s Life. Interment will be held later this summer; when Faron will be laid to rest next to his mom and dad in the Little Mountain Cemetery, Chilliwack, British Columbia; God’s Country, as Faron always lovingly referred to the area.
Love always… until we meet again.
