Elyssa ‘Elly’ Bailey Roise Pike of Sylvan Lake, Alberta passed away at Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the age of 18 years. Elly was born in Red Deer and raised in both Red Deer and Sylvan Lake. She graduated this year, 2022, and was applying for a Bachelor of Arts, with a Drama Major. Elly was an aspiring actress and gifted artist. She was a girl full of life, who felt every emotion to its fullest depth. Elly was passionate; she searched for adventure everywhere she went. She was able to make you smile by making a weird or silly face, and was there to share her great stories, including playing hide-and-go seek in Walmart. Elly loved her friends dearly and was always the “life of the party” with her sass and class. Her pets meant the world to her. Elly’s stunning beautiful light that filled up every room she entered, even while wearing pants and a hoodie, will be forever missed. Elly will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Tara Olson of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Earl and Janette Van Pike of Red Deer, Alberta, her brothers Cole Pike and Mark Van Rumpt of Red Deer, Alberta and her sister, Kaylee Van Pike. She will also be sadly missed by many friends. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
