Mrs. Doris Mary Holtz passed away in Red Deer Alberta on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the age of 101 years. Doris was born in London, England on January 18, 1921. Doris lost her husband, Howard twenty-nine years ago. She then moved to Alberta to be closer to her two daughters. Doris loved to dance and play cards, especially Canasta and UNO. Doris also loved to do jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She spent hours knitting, watching curling and spent plenty of time with family. Doris had a zest for life that was second to none. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jean Henger (Nick) and Carol Packard (Neil), and her sons, Colin Holtz (Phyllis) and Reg Holtz (Darlene), and her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Howard, a granddaughter, Cherrie Packard, her brothers, Reg and John, and a sister, Eileen (Chris). A Private Family Service will be held.
