Obituary for Diane Marie Hermary (Dymianiuk)

Mrs. Diane Marie Hermary (nee Dymianiuk) (formerly Kirkham) passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the age of 54 years. Diane was born in Hamilton, Ontario, on April 26,1966.

Diane was a huge booster of the downtown Red Deer community, relentlessly promoting it at every turn. Whether at work (as a co-founder of housewarmings), through volunteering (as a long-time board member of the Red Deer Arts Council, among other endeavours) or attending as many community events and local arts & musical performances as humanly possible (often 2 or 3 in one day), Diane never stopped moving! Her natural state seemed to be that of constant motion.

Diane loved to travel, and made it her life mission to see as much of the world as she could, finding lifelong friends wherever she went. She also loved all forms of artistic expression and firmly believed that we can't truly live life without it, and she freely shared her many artistic creations far and wide.

Diane is survived by her son Dylan and husband Dave, her brother David (of Hamilton), her mother-in-law Betty, father-in-law Ray, brothers-in-law Hugh (Loretta), Greg (Anne), and Mark (Claudia), many much-loved nieces and nephews, and her countless friends and soulmates worldwide.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph & Josephine Dymianiuk, and John Kirkham

In lieu of flowers, donations, or anything else, Diane would like everyone to practice one random act of kindness, and if so inclined, to continue to do so, as she was so fond of doing herself. The ultimate tribute to the inexhaustible light of life embodied within her is to spread light and love everywhere, endlessly!
