It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Daniel ‘Dan’ Marcel Joseph Cossette of Red Deer, Alberta, at the Red Deer Hospice on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 62 years. Dan was born January 7, 1958 in Calgary, Alberta. He spent his life in Central Alberta. Dan was employed by Peavey Mart for over twenty years; he had previously worked as an Industrial Insulator. Dan loved camping and enjoyed the outdoors, especially going for walks with his dogs. Dan will be greatly missed by his family and friends but always remembered for his mischievous smile and gentle manner. Dan will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Catherine Cossette of Red Deer, Alberta; his brothers, Ron Cossette (Sheryl) of Lacombe, Alberta and Alan Cossette of Langford, British Columbia; his sisters, Joann (Vern) Halvorson of Red Deer, Alberta, Annette (Dave) Johnson of Sylvan Lake, Alberta and Nicole Smith of Red Deer, Alberta. Dan will also be sadly missed by his special friend, Jada Hughes; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Dan was predeceased by his father, Harvey Cossette.
