Obituary for Bevin Barry Sayler

SAYLER, Bevin
1957 - 2023
It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bevin Sayler at the age of 65 years. He died peacefully in Rocky Mountain House, with his family by his side, on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Bevin was born to Vern and Dorothy Sayler, on November 15, 1957, and raised on a farm in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. He was a talented and driven individual who loved his cars, motorcycles, and family. After graduating from CUC in 1976, he married his High School sweetheart, Sharon, in 1979 and began their family together in 1982.

After obtaining his Journeyman Carpentry Certificate from SAIT in 1980, with one of his greatest projects was being the foreman of constructing the Westerner in Red Deer. His entrepreneurial spirit was evident when he decided to leave carpentry and start his own business, White Knight in 1984, later discovering his true passion of helping others with their journey to better health and wellness as a consultant in 1997.

Bevin held many titles throughout his life, from loving husband to entrepreneur, but his favorite role was being a father and papa. He loved nothing more than spending time with his adult children, Daphne (Glen) and Travis (Lindsay) along with his five granddaughters, Fallon, Peyton, Lily, Bria, and Hailey. His wife, Sharon of 43 years has been his strongest supporter, remaining by his side both personally and professionally.

“When the day arrives that there are no more tomorrows for me, I want my wife, children and grandchildren to know and never forget, that they were, and always will be deeply loved by me.”

Someone who was so special can never be forgotten and the memories of him will continue to be treasured for a lifetime. A Public Graveside Service will be held at Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. officiated by John Bullock.
