Obituary for Albert Joseph Sylvere Belliveau

Mr. Albert Joseph Sylvere Belliveau beloved husband of Mrs. Beatrice Belliveau of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 84 years. Albert was born on June 20, 1935 in College Bridge, New Brunswick. Albert was raised in Memramcook, New Brunswick and he joined the Military in 1953. His trade was Telecommunications. Albert met Beatrice while he was stationed in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1954 and married his beloved wife November 22, 1958 in Edmonton, Alberta. Albert was stationed in various places with his favorite being France. He had various occupations over the years including owning and operating Bi-Lo Oil and Gas and as well as working in the Nursery Industry. He took great pride in his gardens, cherished his time hunting, fishing and enjoyed volunteering with the Knights of Columbus. He retired in Red Deer, Alberta in 1978. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Beatrice Belliveau of Red Deer, Alberta; his children, Paul (Doreen) Belliveau of Red Deer, Alberta, Denis (Marlene) Belliveau of Regina, Saskatchewan, Marcel Belliveau of Edmonton, Alberta, Serge (Amanda) Belliveau of Red Deer, Alberta, Lynn Belliveau of Calgary, Alberta and Chantel (Trevor) May of Calgary, Alberta; his twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Albert will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Laurie (Marg) of Moncton, New Brunswick, Leo (Rejeanne) of Lacolle, Quebec, Joseph (Jeanitta) of Memramcook, New Brunswick, Laura of Memramcook, New Brunswick, and Marie-Anne (Claude) of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Albert was predeceased by his parents, Rufin and Marie, and his brother, Yvon. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Father Miroslaw Kostarzewski Celebrant. Cremation entrusted to the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
