Obituary for Roger Dean Dye
June 3, 1929 - July 14, 2019
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dad. Roger was born in Langdon, Alberta and raised in many Alberta Communities, finally settling in Red Deer. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Sue, Sandy (Doug) and Carolynn; his grandchildren, Matt (Laurel), Jesse, Jenny, Alex and Cassie; and his great grandchildren, Makaela, Josh and Nick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by his parents, six sisters, and a twin brother. At Dad’s request, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until midnight. Sandwiches and coffee/tea will be available from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m, followed by music. Children are welcome until 9:00 p.m. Please come and pass along your memories of Roger and dress casual. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Roger’s honor may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
