Greg and family members. As we are unable to attend the service, we wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to you and your family members on the passing of Ray. Having known your father when coaching hockey, I want you all to know that he was a very good sport and father who guided you during your time in hockey. As a parent and a coach in hockey, I found Ray to be supportive of you, with good sound partenting skills necessary in the game as a fan who followed you in your minor hockey days. Best Wishes to all at this time of grief on the loss of a husband, father, grandfather and friend. Sincerely, Dennis Richardson

I am truly sorry for your loss of a great man. I will always appreciate the honesty and sincerity that we had in our conversations throughout the time I got to know him. I had the opportunity to have many good laughs with Ray and that is a memory that I will treasure. I would like to offer your family deepest and most sincere condolences and may the soul of Mr. Ray rest in peace. He was truly a gem of a man.

Ray was one of my absolute favorite people when I worked at Joffre and continued to be so even after her retired. He was one of the sweetest, most considerate, funniest, mischievous, genuinely kind people I have ever met, and the world was a much better place having him in it.
