It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Allan John ‘Al’ North, after a long battle with cancer at Red Deer, Alberta on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the age of 75 years. Al will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dottie North, his son, John (Pam) North, his daughter, Brenda (Roy) Mann, and their mother, Judy Buckles, his stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Ryan) Rennie, and his stepsons, Rory (Tanis) Park, Mike (Carmen) Park and Tom (Nicole) Park. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Rob (Diane) North and Wes (Carol) North; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Irene. A Celebration of Al’s Life will be held at the Sylvan Lake Community Centre, 4725 – 43 Street, Sylvan Lake, Alberta on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. If desired, Memorial Donations in Al’s honor may be made directly to STARS at www.stars.ca.
