It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Larry Walters on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the age of 76 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pat of fifty-four years; son, Scott (Karen) and grandchildren, Ethan and Sophia of Calgary, Alberta; son, Greg (fiancé, Brenda Froese) of Edmonton, Alberta; twin brother, Lorne (Vivian Fehr) of Chilliwack, British Columbia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Elizabeth Walters. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 18 Selkirk Boulevard, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations in Larry’s honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at www.heartandstroke.ca, or to the Red Deer Hospice at www.reddeerhospice.com.
