Dear Gladys and family, I was so sad to read of your Mom's passing. How we talked about Mom and my Mom a few weeks ago.
We have wonderful memories of your Mom and always said hello when we visited our Mom. Oh how those two could tease each
other and yet be such good friends, while knitting and crocheting. She live to an amazing age of 106! I loved her smile and always
enjoyed visiting with her. Our condolences to you Gladys and to your family. All the best. Love Ena Hammer and family.

We had the great honor to get to know Tillie while I was working at the pines lodge.

One Sunday evening Tillie’s lamp switch broke and Tillie was very upset. Tillie was an avid reader and used her lamp to read. My husband came to see if he could fix the lamp. He said he would get a switch and fix it the next day. Tillie worried about how much this would cost. My husband fixed the lamp and showed Tillie. The first thing she asked him was how much. My husband said a hug. Tillie, hard of hearing, said, “A HUNDRED!” My husband said, “no a hug.” Tillie then jumped up and gave him a big hug. He said, “she squeezed the stuffing out of me!” Not what he expected.

We will always remember Tillie and please know our prayers are with you all.
