Condolence From: Betty Grunau
Condolence: Another former Parkside teacher is keeping you in her prayers. Your dad and mom were the substitute parents for all of the young teachers that were new to Grande Prairie. They kept us in line but also made us feel welcome. When Murray was baby sitting the school in the evening he would help those of us that came back to work. I remember the great conversations he and I would have. Some of his wisdom I still recall. May the good memories of your parents always be with you.

Condolence: Heartfelt thanks for 42 years of treasured fond memories, my dear life long friend. How fortunate I was to have been included as a valued member of your family through all these years! Wishing you a peaceful journey as you prepare to join your beloved wife & soul-mate, Johanna, in your next life together.

Condolence From: Gail Fournier
Condolence: I'm a friend of Carman and Doug Schirley who told me about Murray's death. He and Jo were the custodians at Parkside School for the 2 years I taught there. I was always impressed with the attention they showed in caring for our school and the people who were in it. My memories of them both are very positive. May good memories help carry you forward.

Condolence From: Karen Douglas
Condolence: I worked with Marius and Jo at Parkside for several years in the 1980s. They kept that school running like a top! I've thought fondly of them through the years. Blessings to all.

Condolence From: Margo Simmons
Condolence:
Please accept my sincere condolences for your recent loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have always received comfort from the Bibles’ word at Philippians 4:7 which reads “and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus”.
I hope you can receive comfort from these words as well. Margo Simmons
