Mrs. Margaret Mary Andrew, beloved wife of Mr. Eldon Andrew of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Margaret was born on October 11, 1938 at Calgary, Alberta and attended school at Turner Valley, Alberta. She married her soul mate, Eldon Andrew on August 2, 1958. Over the years, Margaret and Eldon lived at Olds, Cessford, Eckville, and Brooks, and finally retired at Red Deer, Alberta. Margaret loved her family and was always involved in all of her children's activities. She enjoyed her political passion of serving as Mayor and Councilor of Eckville, Alberta; as well as serving as Chair of the Brooks Hospital Board, while living there. It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beautiful wife, mom, grandma and great grandma. She will be forever cherished in all our hearts. Margaret was predeceased by her parents and parents-in-law, one brother and sister, and a son, Brad. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Father Len Cadieux, Celebrant. A Private Family Interment will be held at the Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer, Alberta.
