Obituary for Carole Dianne Little

Carole Little of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the age of 71 years. Carole was born in Red Deer, Alberta on August 21, 1946. She was raised on the family farm at Delburne and received her primary schooling there as well. She attended Royal Alex Nursing Program and after receiving her RN in 1968, Carole continued her education to attain her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education. She taught the Nursing Practitioner’s of Canada at the U of A for several years. While working for the Federal Government, Carole spent many years on the Native Reserve’s looking after people from small nursing stations. This part of her career was very close to her heart. She enjoyed her holidays in Mexico with her friends. During her life, Carole dedicated her life to the health and welfare of everyone. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. Carole will be lovingly remembered by her partner, Barry Rohloff, her brother, Glen (Coralie) Little of Red Deer and her sister, Shirley (Victor) Mace of Penhold. She was predeceased by her parents, Eileen (Trussler) and William Little.
A Celebration of Carole’s life will be held at the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital, (800 8215 112 St. N.W.
